## Our Commitment

Nouveau Longevity is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make our website easier to navigate and use, regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology.

## Standards We Follow

We aim to conform our site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, motor, and neurological impairments.

## Accessibility Features

-   An accessibility menu (bottom-left of every page) for adjusting text size, contrast, link underlines, and cursor size.
-   Semantic HTML structure with descriptive headings, landmarks, and ARIA labels where appropriate.
-   Keyboard navigation throughout the site, with visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
-   Alternative text for meaningful images and decorative attributes on purely visual elements.
-   Sufficient color contrast for body and interactive text against backgrounds.
-   Responsive layouts that adapt to desktop, tablet, and mobile devices and to user-adjusted zoom levels.
-   Captions and transcripts on educational video content where available.

## Compatibility With Assistive Technology

We test the site with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and with common screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA. The site is designed to work with operating-system level accessibility tools including zoom, high-contrast modes, and voice control.

## Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review the site, test with assistive technologies, train our team, and update content and code as standards evolve. Some legacy content and third-party embeds may not yet fully conform; we are committed to addressing these as we encounter them.
